When you signed up you provided us a domain name we created account
for the first thing you need to do is
DOMAIN TRANSFER
If your domain name is already registered we have to transfer it to our
servers. The process is simple and it'll take you only few minutes.
All we have to do is replace your existing DNS server with ours. Here
is general instruction how to do this:
- please visit your domain registrars web page (web site where you
registered your domain name)
- log in with your username and password into domain manager
- find DNS servers section and replace current DNS servers with
ours. The details of server have been provided
in our activation mail.
- save changes
THAT'S IT ! YOUR DOMAIN NAME WILL BE ACTIVE WITHIN 24-48 HOURS INTERNIC
HAS TO UPDATE ITS DATABASE AND IT HAPPENS ONCE A DAY.
The DNS server changes will take around 24-48 hours to update
depending on how fast your ISP and everyone else's ISP updates
their server.
If you just changed the DNS servers and can't
wait to upload or view your site, you can view it by going to:
http://64.246.32.70/~username/. Of course after that You will be able to use your full domain name
www.yourdomain.com
How do I upload my site online?

Uploading your site can be done in many ways, but the most
popular is FTP. When your hosting account was created, you should have been
provided with an FTP account. Using software such as CuteFTP
or WS_FTP, you can log
into your host. Then, using the program like a normal windows
program, you can drag and drop files onto your web host very
easily and your website goes online instantaneously.
You can begin uploading your files with the following info:
FTP Hostname: ftp.yourdomain.com
Username :
Password :
All your web pages and graphics have to be uploaded into PUBLIC_HTML or
WWW directory. There should be one page called index.html or
index.html (index.shtml, quick.php ) which is the default page for your web site.
How
do I log into Control Panel? <Back
To log in just go to your URL http://www.domainname.com followed by :2082 For example:
http://www.yourdomain.com:2082/. Replace domain.com

There are over a 100 reasons why you could have a 500 error.
Firstly make sure your scripts are pointing to the right
location to perl (/usr/bin/perl), Could be the wrong
permissions, chmod it to 755, all .cgi files should be 755.

many databases can I have with my plan?<Back
It depends on the plan that you order.
How do I enable and use the
various utilities and features available? <Back
The various utilities/features are ready to use when the webhosting package is purchased. You may enable/configure/administer them using the control panel. Although this process is very simple and user friendly our support and services shall be readily available.

I need to change my domain if I get a new host? <Back
No, provided that the domain is registered in your name (as
it should be), you can simply update your namservers
(from where you manage your domain names) to that of your new host

sub domains? <Back
Sub domains are extension of your domain. Say, for the site is
www.indocad.com. A subdomain would be
cad.indocad.com, and another would be webdesign.indocad.com.
Subdomains are usually treated as separate sites from the main
domain site.However you may set up multiple subdomains under the same webshoting plan.
What is disk space and bandwidth/data transfer?

Diskspace is the size allocated to store your website . Every single
letter on your website has to be stored somewhere on your web
host's server. HTML pages are usually very small,
but the images, scripts, and databases take up large amounts of disk space.
Bandwidth/Transfer is the amount of data the server will allow
your site to send in a month. Transfer is usually measured in
gigabytes - billions of bytes.
What is PHP, ASP, Perl, MySQL, MS SQL etc?

by their acronyms and each of them has its own benefits and uses.

data.
What is uptime?

Uptime is literally what it means - it is the amount of time
your site is online throughout the entire month. The best uptime would be 100%, but because things can
break or server may be kept for service/installations/maintenance, generally 99.5 to 99.9% uptime
may be experienced.
